Boracay is an island in the Aklan region of the Philippines. Here are a few sneak peeks of the many shots I took while I was there. The water was so warm and the sand was really white powder and so fine. I finally understand the lyrics “As the lazy ocean hugs the shore” when I saw the beaches of Boracay. We stayed at the Panoly Resort, which is the oldest resort on the island. They were about 10 -15 drive to the famous White Beach which is the longest beach on the island. White beach however was super populated and we really enjoyed the serenity and seclusion of the panoly’s private beach.

I’ve been super busy here in the Philippines and haven’t had much down time to write and post all that I’ve seen and done so far. As I’m writing this I’m getting ready to head out to the beach in the island paradise, Boracay. However since I’m online I wanted to at least put up one photo. I took this photo during a little boat trip that we had to One Hundred Islands just southwest of Baguio on the way back to Manila. The One Hundred Islands is a collection of 123 islands on the western side of Luzon situated in the South China Sea. The water was super transparent and blue. The little boy was the son of our guide and he helped steer and co-captained the vessel.

Happy belated Chinese New Year! I was on a plane to the Philippines during the celebration, but did get a photo at the Taipei International Airport of the post celebration. I visited the Taipei Airport a few years ago in the end of 2007 when I travelled to India, but this time I had a chance to just hang around a bit and relax from the long 13 hour flight from Seattle. The orchid garden in the middle of the airport was awesome. My sister did enjoy the Hello Kitty store. Anyways I’ll post more from my trip in the next few weeks, keep checking in. Cheers!

Amy and David’s engagement session took place at a very empty UW campus on Superbowl Sunday. I enjoyed getting to know them and it was fun to see how comfortable they were as they interacted with each other in front of the camera. Below are a few of my favorites! I am looking forward to their wedding in Pioneer Square in a few months!

A little bird-watching perhaps?

It was such a great day for photography, we were definitely blessed with great weather in early February. Liam and Megan decided to have their engagement session at magnuson park in Seattle, we hiked around and had a great time. This was my first time at the park and I will definitely be back, especially since I lost my wallet somewhere during the shoot so if anyone finds it let me know! Of course I cancelled all of the credit cards that were in it already. Anyways back to Liam and Megan, beautiful couple, beautiful day…blah blah blah, below are a few of my favorites, check out the photos!

Mike and Tiffany had their wedding and reception at the The Attic in Sumner, WA. This was my second time at the venue and I enjoyed it very much. You could feel the excitement that Mike and Tiffany had for each other and for the unity that was to come. Through tears of joy (mostly from Tiffany) we toured the vicinity around The Attic and many of the images that were captured during the bridal session depicted the love that they had for each other. Enjoy!

I’ve known Michelle for a few years now and when she and Brian decided to use me as their wedding photographer, I was of course excited to photograph friends:)! Their engagement session was more like a double date with my wife coming along for the shoot in which we traveled through Pioneer Square, Volunteer Park, and many smiles and kisses later we finished with a tour of UW, where Michelle graduated from. Below is a sneak peek of their session!
