Huy + Natalie | A Blue (Ribbon) Christmas (Eve)

I never thought I’d have a Blue Christmas, but this year came the closest.  Huy and Natalie’s Christmas Eve wedding at Blue Ribbon in Seattle.  Many of the Chinese and Vietnamese Tea Ceremony weddings that I’ve photographed quite regularly is an all day event and Huy and Natalie’s are no different.  I met her getting ready at the Country Inn Suites early in the morning and then headed to her parents house where Huy and his whole family eagerly awaited to begin the tea ceremony.

After the Vietnamese Tea Ceremony in the morning, family and friends gathered at the North Lake Unitarian Church for their western ceremony.

After the ceremony we took a short drive to the Kirkland waterfront for photos and then headed across Lake Washington to Blue Ribbon in Seattle for the reception.

Lots of fun celebrating the marriage of Huy and Natalie, includes Karaoke, some table games–I’m not going to write about the details;) and of course just a great time dancing and enjoying family and friends.  I couldn’t think of  a better way to spend Christmas Eve.  Thanks so much for having me be a part of your day.  Congratulations!

Thanks for checking out my work.  For updates and specials like us on FACEBOOK.  Cheers!
