Matt + Kindra’s wedding was my second wedding of this year, a few days after I came back to Washington from Toronto. I was very excited to get away from the snow and ice of Canada, but it seemed that it also snowed here in Seattle, and much more in southern, WA. Actually for Matt and Kindra, the weather gifted them on their wedding day, sun, snow, rain, and hail. In other words I was a mess, trying to figure out what kind of shots I was going to do:). It all worked out though and luckily for us we found some really nice locations, many with covered areas and Kindra was prepared with her own umbrella, so at least she stayed dry. Their wedding and reception was held at the Southwest Washington Fair Grounds and it seemed like the whole town showed up to celebrate the couple’s joyous marriage! During the reception, we were able to take off for a few minutes to do a couple of night photos out in the fairgrounds. I had to borrow a chair to lie down on in the middle of a puddle to get that photo above, so I could stay as dry as possible. Thanks so much you two for braving the elements and humoring my “let’s-brave-the-weather” ideas. Congratulations!
