Oh what a fun session I had the privilege of photographing with a few dancers at Ballet Northwest in Olympia. They are getting ready for their spring performance Coppelia at the Washington Performing Arts Center Mother’s Day weekend. The shoot took place at the Tenino Depot Museum in Tenino, WA.
The ballet is about this ballerina doll that Dr. Coppelius crafted and placed in the window of his home. It was so lifelike that a local boy Franz even fell in love with the doll. This comedic ballet is set to some fun, great music by Leo Delibes and you should go check it out. You can buy tickets by going to the Washington Performance Art Center page. The photos below are some of the shots from the session.
