Riley and Sarah were my second wedding on the weekend of the fourth of July, and that day started out with lots and lots of rain. In fact while I was driving up I-5 from Seattle to Mt. Vernon it was pouring, but when I arrived at Sarah’s sister’s home in Anacortes the sun was shining. Whew, what a relief because they were going to get married on a bluff overlooking the sound and the San Juan Islands. The hike wasn’t too difficult, but I was pretty out of shape and worked up a pretty good sweat by the time the wedding ceremony was over. Afterwards the reception was held over in Mt. Vernon and man was it a party…Spoonshine a folk, rock, punk, country style fusion duo rocked the party all reception long, a crazy game of jenga, lots of laughter from the speeches given to Riley and Sarah from their family and friends, and a getaway on a tandem bicycle ended the fantastic celebration! Congratulations!
