August 25, 2012. Jason and I began the morning stopping by Josh’s house where he and his guys were getting ready. They pretty much were ready to go by the time we arrived so I left Jason with the gentlemen to drink beer, shoot billiards, and basically hang out while I headed off to Salish Lodge to photograph Allison and her ladies. Allison met me at the lobby and we began the day with the Salish Lodge’s signature drink and then headed off to her room to get ready for her big day. Josh and his gents met us outside for the unveiling of Allison and then we were off for some portraits around the very busy with tourists, snoqualmie falls. The wedding and reception took place at Tibbetts Creek Manor in Issaquah and so after fighting the crowds and 2 other wedding parties for good photography spots, we headed off to Tibbetts Creek Manor. There we were met with amazing late afternoon warm summer light. Amongst the many events that happened in the reception, there were a few surprises: Allison first surprised Josh with a special WSU wedding cake all for his own, and the couple surprised the entire family and guests with a well choreographed first dance that was not expected. Congratulations Allison and Josh. Cheers!
