Jennie + Brandon’s wedding was my first of 2013. What a fun way to start the year! I began my drive out to Poulsbo, WA in the morning staring at a thick fog that covered the Puget Sound. Even when I arrived at the Suquamish Clearwater Resort where the couple were getting ready, the fog still hasn’t lifted, but we all agreed that it was better than rain! Especially in January in Washington. After the unveiling at the resort, we all headed out for the quick 5 minute drive to Kiana Lodge and it seemed like when we arrived the sun came out and it was gorgeous, a little chilly, but beautiful and we were so thankful! The wedding ceremony and reception was fantastic and the celebration was really wonderful. We had a great time photographing at the lodge with all of its manly (Gaston-like) antlers for decoration, and Northwest Indian influences. And you can’t have a Northwest wedding without salmon for dinner. After the cupcake dessert and dancing, we headed back to Seattle via the ferry and enjoyed the nighttime view of Seattle’s cityscape. Congratulations to you Jennie and Brandon! Thanks for having me and Red capture the beginning of your marriage. Cheers!
