June 22, 2013. It was a gorgeous 2nd day of summer for the wedding celebration of Jordan and Jenny. We began the morning at Hotel Deca where Jenny was getting ready. Jordan met us a few hours later down at the lobby where he waited to see his beautiful bride. The wedding ceremony and reception was held at Mars Hill Church, University District. For portraits, we headed off to the arboretum and then met up with the bridal party all 18 of them at UW. Between the ceremony and reception, Jenny and Jordan went to a few pubs on the Ave and enjoyed a few drinks with their friends and family. It was great for me to be there as I got to see a lot of familiar faces from throughout the years. After toasts and dinner, Jordan and Jenny didn’t think a regular cake knife was adequate for the cutting of the cake, so they opted for the cake hatchet, specially designed for awesome cake cutting ceremonies. Afterwards, the big surprise during the first dance was that it was interrupted by Psy’s Gangnam Style and a huge group of both bridal party and guests set the tempo for the reception with this song. A few dance battles definitely escalated during the reception with Jenny bustin’ out her moves and leaving the reception with her dance crown and her husband Jordan. After the send off we headed to south Seattle for a few shots with the setting of the sun. Congratulations Jenny and Jordan!!!!
