First Saturday of July! Monica and Jit’s wedding day meets Seattle’s Zombie Walk. We began the morning in Kirkland getting ready at the Heathman Hotel and having an early wedding ceremony at Northlake Church close by. After which, we headed to Seattle’s downtown to the reception at O’Asian. Before that we stopped first at the Seattle Center to do some photos with the bridal party. As we arrived we noticed a lot of zombie’s walking around, as we got to the EMP, there was a huge crowd of Zombie’s getting ready for their thing, so of course with the coaxing of the bridal party, I called out to them to come attack my bridal party. I ended up having to battle other photographers who also wanted to get the epic shot of a gajillion zombies taking on Monica and Jit’s wedding entourage. After that conflict we fought through Seattle traffic to the Sculpture park for more photos and also a “quick” pitstop at the Pike Place Market for a Piroshky!
The reception was equally as exciting! O’Asian had a million courses and each one was more amazing than the previous. People were dancing, both to the latest hits, and Cambodian hits, and of course I had to look out for photo bombers (Kirsten), and hadouken’s (I think Cham got hit with one). Monica and Jit, congratulations! Amazing wedding celebration!
