August 29, 2015. Jane and Jon are my last August wedding this year and boy did we have a venturesome day. We experienced the sun, crazy 50 mile per hour winds, monsoon like rain, and of course the storm knocked out all of the power in Bellevue creating traffic havoc. With the cognac flowing and lots and lots of dancing I felt like everyone had an epic time with this crazy weather. Also with two wedding ceremonies (one at the Holy Resurrection Armenian Apostolic Church in Woodinville, and the other at Rosecrest Equestrian Estate), Jane and Jon got to celebrate tying the knot twice! In between the ceremonies, we travelled to the Kirkland Waterfront for photos only to see huge waves and tree branches all over the streets and the park. So we quickly got some photos before anyone got hurt by falling branches and then bravely headed into traffic to travel to the reception.
Jane and Jon, thanks so much for having Paul and me photograph your wedding. It was such a memorable day, not just because of the weather, but how your friends and family handled the day and celebrated with you two late into the night. It was a crowded dance floor from the beginning of the reception til the end and Armenian’s know how to party. Congratulations!
